Why Figmage

A design system is the shared language between design and engineering — the colors, type styles, spacing, shadows, and icons that make a product feel like one coherent thing. In Figma, designers already capture that language as styles, variables, and components.

The hard part is keeping the code side in sync. Traditionally a developer reads values off the Figma canvas and re-types them into the codebase: a hex code here, a font size there. Every manual copy is a chance to introduce a typo, and every design change has to be hunted down and re-applied by hand. Over time the two sources drift, and “the button is the wrong green” bugs creep in.

Figmage makes Figma the single source of truth and generates the code automatically. Designers own the values; developers consume them as code. When a value changes in Figma and the library is re-published, a single figmage sync flows the change into the product.
